Artworx Gallery & Gifts are happy to introduce Pastel artist, Tori Wade.
Tori is an Adelaide based artist who is enthralled by the colour, texture and light of the landscape. She usually paints in dry pastels on black or other dark coloured paper. She says: “The dark background, strong contrast and minimal blending is quite different to typical pastel technique. As the pastels have such strong opaque colour they really bring the light forward” Tori has had several solo exhibitions and recently received prizes from the Blackwood Art Show and Royal Adelaide Show.
