Welcome New Artist to Artworx Gallery, Nic Human

Please join us as we welcome our newest artists Nic Human to Artworx Gallery in Goolwa.

‘Feel the wild and pulsing ocean’ is the key aim of the paintings of Nic Human. In order to achieve a genuine sensation of light in water, he applies a fusion between a familiar impressionist technique and more experimental mark-marking. Continued interaction with marine biologists, aquarists and tour guides at remote beaches and reefs along with sketches, photos and on-location painting ensures authenticity in his work.
Having grown up next to the sea, the ocean is embedded in his being and it is this deeply rooted connection that Nic shares through his work.
